On 7 September 2026, Treasures in Mud JHS opened its doors in Aworasa, in the Asamankese Municipality of the Eastern Region. The school is the organisation's flagship project and a clear expression of our mandate: to inspire, empower and guide young people, and to undertake physical development projects in their communities.
A school in the community
A junior high school in Aworasa gives young people in the community a local place to continue their education, without having to leave home to do it. The school is an educational project and a physical development project at the same time: a building, and a place where learning can carry on close to family and community.
What comes next
The school has just opened and is growing. Confirmed details such as enrolment, staffing and itemised needs will be published here once they are confirmed, with no estimates presented as fact.
Until then, the most useful ways to help are to sponsor a student, to donate to the school, or to contact us about a specific classroom need.
