Five programme areas, one goal
Coaching and mentorship, capacity building, educational support, missions and community development projects are how our mission reaches young people in practice.

Our mission is to inspire, equip and guide young people in deprived families and communities. That mission is delivered through five programme areas, each doing a different job but pointing in the same direction.
The five areas
- Coaching and mentorship — sustained, personal support from someone who stays with a young person over time.
- Capacity building — building the skills, confidence and agency young people need to make their own decisions.
- Educational support — practical help that keeps young people in, and returning to, education.
- Missions — taking the work to communities rather than waiting for communities to come to us.
- Community development projects — physical development work in the communities where young people live.
Why the areas work together
No single programme changes a life on its own. Educational support works because a mentor is there to notice when something is wrong. Capacity building works because it is embedded in a relationship young people trust. Community development works because it is delivered with the community, not around it.
The combination is what makes the difference. Our theory of change is that mentorship and capacity building break the cycle of deprivation, and empowered young people then become catalysts for change in their own families and communities.
A case in point
Our flagship project, Treasures in Mud JHS in Aworasa, Asamankese Municipality, brings two of these areas together. It opened on 7 September 2026 as an educational project and a physical development project: a school in the community, built for the community.
If you would like to get involved with any of the five areas, see the work in detail, volunteer or partner with us, or support the work.
